"My father bought one of these for his .308 to replace an old Leupold he had. I was impressed with his and got myself one.
Excellent scope. My only complaint is that the dust cover strap ends were broken in the box making it useless. I never use them anyway but it still would have been nice to of had. The wind/elevation knobs are easy to use, and it overall has an awesome rubberized coating. It needs a little more clearence with that 50 mm Obj. lens so get medium height mounts. I used the 1" Warne Rings which are also excellent."

"I've mounted several scopes on my Winchester 70 chambered in 7mm Rem Mag and since it has a synthetic stock, the recoil is thunderous! After spending well over $500 combined on a couple of scopes, I decided to try a less expensive scope. I came across the BSA Cat's Eye scope on sale at Cabela's and decided to give it a shot, no pun intended! My BSA is the 3-12x40 which gathers plenty of light during those dusk or dawn shots. The optics are as clear as the more expensive scopes I've owned and zeroing was a breeze thanks to the finger adjustable windage knobs. It's matte black and won't give away your position when the sunlight hits it. The only reason I didn't give the scope 5 stars was because it wasn't available with a 50mm objective, but you can't have it all. Oh, the recoil! This scope handles the recoil of my 7mag better than those other scopes I tried and that's why I'm putting my trust in BSA. It's an awesome buy for the price!"
